Victor Gastelum is a local artist I've long admired, mostly because he does all the album covers for one of my favorite bands, Calexico. He has a show opening tonight at the Track 16 Gallery in Santa Monica. I don't think I'm going to make it as it's already 6 p.m. and I'm still at work here in Hollywood. But the show runs through March 27, and I definitely plan to check it out. I think you would like it, too.
