20 x 200

My friend Robin told me about this. 20 x 200 is an idea and a web site created by Jen Bekman, an art gallery owner on NYC's Lower East Side. The concept is, and I quote:

"(limited editions x low prices) + the internet = art for everyone"

The site features numerous art and photography prints by talented artists, and they can all be purchased at different sizes and prices starting at $20. I think it's pretty great, and I can't wait to start buying some and decorating like a madwoman.

I just love the whole idea of "art for everyone". It's just like the "democritization of of fashion" (Nina Garcia's words, not mine, but I use them all the time). Fabulous art, fashion, interior design--it's for all us regular folk, too. Yea internet! Yea blogs! Yea Target!

Hi Lexa,
I just found your blog today and I love the bright colors in your photos. Thank you for posting the information about 20x200! I had not heard of it of it before, which is sad because the site is fabulous.
