I was driving down Victory in Burbank one Saturday and saw this sign. I literally pulled over, parked and walked in. I don't do that often. I tend to hem and haw and wonder "do I try something new?" or "do I go someplace I trust," etc.
But I was so glad I did. Peacha's just opened in March, and it's a little mother-daughter operation. The menu is pretty standard for Mexican joints, but the two were right there in the window, whipping everything up from scratch and making salsa for the day.
The walls were plastered with Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin posters, and the whole place was just really cute. I loved it. I had a vegetable taco and tostada, and they was some of the best I've had in L.A. I've actually gone back twice, but both times it's been closed, which has really bummed me out. Now they have a Facebook page and a few reviews on Yelp, so hopefully, they will gain word of mouth and be open all the time.

i love the sound of this place!
What a sweet looking place. There's just something about family run businesses.
