saturday night.

I think I'm going to check out some art tonight--before losing one hour of sleep and being all cranky and wiped out tomorrow.

Volume No. 2 Yellow / Magenta / Grey by Lisa Bartleson

Los Angeles-based artist Lisa Bartleson has a solo exhibition, "Where I Live," at FP Contemporary.

The Light Between Us Lake Tahoe by Christine Frerichs

Klowden Mann presents Serenade by Christine Frerichs.

Especially curious about this exhibit at the Kopeikin Gallery, "Preservation" by Blake Little. After pouring gallons of honey over his subjects, he photographed them. Awesome.

 Carolyn Marks Blackwood

Catherine Howe

The Von Lintel Gallery is featuring exhibitions by two New York-based artists. Carolyn Marks Blackwood, a screenwriter and producer (Philomena), takes dramatic photos of the Hudson River. Painter Catherine Howe presents her third solo show, Supreme Fiction.

And last but not least, the Angel City Derby Dolls host their annual benefit, Eat Your Art Out. This year's event looks to be Twilight Zone-themed, so it's not to be missed.
