I know the rest of the country is already freezing and buried in snow, but not here.
I feel like the seasons have shifted in the last decade. October is the new August--you can always count on it being over one hundred degrees. And December is the new October--the peak of fall.
I don't want to spark one of those "there are no seasons in L.A." debate, but I love that there are blazing red, yellow and orange leaves all around...
...while the roses, camellias and hibiscus are still in bloom.

so tired.
Lord, am I tired. Thanksgiving plus all the Black Friday nonsense really wipes me out. So for now, please enjoy these photos of flowers.
I had a great holiday--despite how Black Friday infringes on it more and more every year--and I would love to blog about it.
But I need a day or two to decompress and get back into my old routine.
I love this hot pink and yellow roses that still blooming in late November.
And stay tuned for tomorrow. I plan to offer my own response to the Vice article hating on L.A. that's gone viral.
