Confession: I'm not a big lingerie person. Full disclosure: I write about lingerie to earn my paycheck and have done so for the past 10 years. My full disclosure may be the reason for my confession--I get that. I may just be a tad bit jaded to the seductive charms of skivvies.
Anyway, it's rare that I swoon over sexy little nothings, but I did just that when I discovered the swoon-worthy (yeah--I use that word a lot) Evgenia line by San Francisco-based designer Stephanie Bodnar.
Her new Tempest collection is inspired by "My Life with the Wave", a surrealist poem by Octavio Paz. I just love the contrast of textures here, the star print mesh mixing with the blue silky florals. The print was a collaboration between the designer and illustrator Valerie Santillo.
I would like to slip into any of these pieces and then walk along the sea on a moody, grey day pining for the one who got away. Or something like that. Honestly, I think this is the most beautiful lingerie I've ever seen. The stunning campaign was shot by photographer Kelly Puleio.
