love/hate.
Reason to love L.A.: The hallways at Cedars Sinai's Mark Taper Imaging Center are hung with original sketches by Robert Rauschenberg, Claes Oldenburg and David Hockney.
Reason to hate L.A.: The Beverly Center. Who in God's name designed this place? The parking structure is the size of four football fields, it took 20 minutes to ride the elevator from the top floor to the bottom, and the only places to eat in the food court are KFC, the Great Steak Co., and one of those generic Chinese stands called something like "Szechuan Wok," where everything is drenched in sweet and sour sauce, and the egg rolls are soggy and cold. Good God.

I think "Love/Hate LA" could be its own blog. I agree on Beverly Center as hateful (except for free parking whilst going to appts at Cedars!) And from reading your previous entry: LOVE Skylight Books. The longer I am away the more things I remember I did love. Think about doing another blog!
